GADSDEN COUNTY COMMISSIONER KIMBLIN NESMITH ACHIEVES THE ADVANCED COUNTY COMMISSIONER LEVEL I DESIGNATION
Commissioner Nesmith Completes Educational Program to Better Serve the Community
Gadsden County Commissioner Kimblin NeSmith was presented with the Advanced County Commissioner Level I (ACC I) designation from the Institute for County Government (ICG) at an award ceremony held recently at the Florida Association of Counties (FAC) Annual Conference and Educational Exhibition in Orange County, Fla.
“The citizens of District 3 push me every day to bring bigger and better projects to our community,” Commissioner NeSmith said. “This valuable training has taught me new and innovative ways to better serve all Gadsden Countians. Our community becomes stronger daily, and these education classes help me better serve you.”
Commissioner NeSmith has received numerous awards and recognition for his accomplishments including:

- Received “2017 Making A Difference Award” from The Community Partners, River Chase Health and Rehabilitation Center, and New Bethel A.M.E. Church Commission on Social Action.
- Kimblin E. NeSmith Executive Director’s Award (Award named in honor of Dr. NeSmith by the 2013 Friends of the Gadsden Leadership and Law Academy Advisory Board).
